Seven of the keys are in the upper left hand corner, lined up a couple of inches above the ESC and F1-F4 keys. These keys are slightly recessed, so players can distinguish them by touch alone.

The asymmetry extends to the keyboard keys as Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E 3 Keyboard, with a space bar that eschews the usual long rectangular shape for something more free form, though still vaguely geometric.
