Acer Aspire T135 There is no bulging or leaks on the board either. When I suggested getting a replacement motherboard I meant as a bundle rather than stripping the CPU etc to Acer Aspire T135 them onto another board. I went into the setup and the temp was around 40c if I remember correctly but don't hold me to that one!
I know it's 5 yrs old and could only get 2nd hand replacement parts if required but I was wondering if I could fit a new motherboard, ie swap old for new. I know you can't fit Acer Aspire T135 old motherboard into the space available so was wondering if anyone could recommend a suitable replacement.
I am UK based, in Merseyside Once thing I did forget to mention is that the Acer Aspire T135 sound does not work so after installing a new PCI card I can now hear system sounds only. However, if Windows XP is loading up or shutting down the Windows tune cuts off after 1 second. The power supply had been making a few odd noises and sounding like the fan inside was slowing down and speeding up which it doesn't normally do so replaced that as a matter of Acer Aspire T135 with a suitable spare one I had.
I don't use Norton. Only Avast and never have any issues with it. It's fully up to date, i regularly scan the whole system for Acer Aspire T135 and malware and nothing has been found, and Windows XP is on SP3 also.
